Webb & Edward Everett Hale, letters from clergymen in response to a circular enlisting their support, and typewritten copies of letters by Amos A. Lawrence while treasurer of the company. Mss. included in this collection are Edward Everett Hale's Kanzas and Nebraska and works by Eli Thayer & Samuel C. Pomeroy.
